You can become a member of Highland Baptist Church in several ways, but one thing is common to all of them.  A person must first have made a decision in their life to put their faith in Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Savior and Lord.  (Click here to read more about what this means) After this, there are several ways to join with Highland Baptist Church.

1.  Transfer your church membership from another Southern Baptist church.

2.  Come and join Highland from another Christian denomination on what we call your “statement of faith” (stating that at some point you have put faith in Christ and give Him control of your life), as long as you were baptized by immersion after you put your faith in Christ.

3.  Come and join the church by your public declaration of faith in Christ followed by baptism by immersion.  Basically this means that you are deciding for the first time to follow Christ or the first time to make this decision known to a church.

4.  Complete Highland’s New Member class.

5.  Then Highland will vote on you for membership at one of our Church Family Conferences.
